My wife and I had rescued hundreds of cats throughout our lives. 18 of them became our permanent family members with our two dogs from different period of time in the past 20 years. They were either too sicked or returned to us with funny reasons but all of them were our precious babies… 

Seven of them have crossed the rainbow bridge and living with our Heavenly Father now. Those who went to the heaven were at their senior age with chronic kidney disease; and other related complications.

Chronic kidney disease is associated with aging, and it can be considered as “wearing out” of the kidney tissues. At least 2/3 of the kidneys must be dysfunctional before any clinical signs can be seen, and it’s often a little bit late at that time.

Since kidney tissue cannot regenerate if destroyed, therefore; staying young and healthy are the best preventative against the disease.
